The John R. Hughes Ephemera, held by the Archives of Appalachia at East Tennessee State University, consists of a form soliciting names of whiskey drinkers for M. I. Hessberg Son & Co., Inc. of Bristol, Virginia; a pledge card for War Savings Stamps; and the Platform of the Republican Party of North Carolina, Adopted in State Convention at Charlotte, August 26, 1908.
