Description

The Carolyn Wetzel Collection, held by the Archives of Appalachia at East Tennessee State University, consists of miscellaneous documents from 1944 that relate to World War II. Included is a motor vehicle operator’s permit in the Civilian Signal Corps issued to Ellen Y. King, a handbook for Fort Bragg employees, a letter written by serviceman Jessie R. Young from Camp Stoneman, California to his mother, and one page of an incomplete undated letter written by Jessie Young to Ellen King.

The current digital collection contains PDF file surrogates created in 2022 of the complete content of the collection.
