Description
There are nine photographs dated July 16, 1939 which depict scenery in Rabun Gap, Georgia; Newfound Gap, Tennessee/North Carolina; and Ocoee, Tennessee. The remaining photographs, all undated, consist of ten prints and negatives of rural houses; one print and negative of a barn; and one negative of two men standing in front of a vehicle; five prints and six negatives of scenery; and a print and negative of three unidentified children. The undated photographs may be from the Rabun Gap area.
The current digital collection consists of JPEG surrogates for all of the prints in the collection and a positive image rendered from the negative depicting two men standing in front of a car. These surrogates were created by the Archives in July, 2022.
