The Carolina, Clinchfield, and Ohio Railway, Engineering Department Collection, held by the Archives of Appalachia at East Tennessee State University, consists of personnel files, memoranda, correspondence, minutes, maps, newsclippings, pamphlets, newsletters, books, speeches, construction diagrams, and miscellaneous records. The papers document the history and the construction of the CC&O Railway, and the management of its engineering department.
