Stratton Elementary School Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) Scrapbooks, 1940-1973

The Stratton Elementary School Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) Scrapbooks, held by the Archives of Appalachia at East Tennessee State University, consist of materials removed from two magnetic page photograph albums. The first was labeled "1910-1934" and consisted of a handwritten history of the PTA with tipped in photographs, a letter and a program. The second scrapbook, "1940-1945," continued the handwritten history and included programs, memorabilia and newspaper clippings. There were also some post-1945 materials tucked into the second scrapbook. Most materials appear to have been removed from an older scrapbook or scrapbooks.

The current digital collection contains PDF file surrogates created in 2024 of the complete content of the collection.
