In addition to photographs of Harry and Anne, there are photographs of Veterans' Administration staff and family and friends. Most of the photographs are identified and dated. Surnames of people in the Johnson City, Tennessee area include Bledsoe, Grimm, Mori, Nugent, and Saylor. Creager also saved photographs of the Soldier's Home nurses, mess personnel, band, and baseball team.
Prior to his service in Johnson City, Creager was at the Metropolitan [tuberculosis] Sanitarium in Mount McGregor, New York. He and Anne then relocated to the Soldier's Home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Other travels took them to Cincinnati, Ohio; Shiloh, Tennessee; Big Lake, Wisconsin; and Irvine, California. Most of the photographs from California, especially those of Saylor family members, were removed from the album at an unknown point prior to acquisition by the Archives of Appalachia.
