Description

The Old Butler, Tennessee Collection, held by the Archives of Appalachia at East Tennessee State University, consists primarily of photographs, along with print, audio, and moving image materials created by individuals during the 1983 Watauga Lake drawdown by the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) that exposed the lake bed and portions of Old Butler, Tennessee.

The current digital collection contains PDF, MP3, and MP4 file surrogates created between 2020-2025 of the complete content of the collection.
