The Peoples Bank (Johnson City, Tennessee) Minute Books, held by the Archives of Appalachia at East Tennessee State University, consist of two ledgers containing the minutes of the Board of Directors of Peoples Bank in Johnson City, Tennessee as well as some supplementary material.

The first volume, February 1920-January 1930 is a corporate record book with preprinted pages for the user to fill in. Information includes "Minutes of the First Meeting of the Incorporators and Subscribers to the Capital Stock" and "Minutes of First Meeting of Directors"dated 3 February 1920. Board of Directors minutes are handwritten until 11 June 1921, after which point the pages are typed and pasted or pinned into the book. The volume also contains minutes of the annual stockholders' meetings and a stockholders' ledger begins on page 191.

The second volume begins with the typed minutes of the annual stockholders' meeting on 14 January 1930 and continues with stockholder and board of directors' meetings through 17 December 1935.

The current digital collection contains PDF file surrogates created in 2025 of the complete content of the collection.
