The Tannewitz Family Letters, held by the Archives of Appalachia at East Tennessee State University, consists of approximiately 350 letters, mostly written by soldier Frank A. Tannewitz to his mother, Beatrice Dunn Tannewitz of Johnson City, Tennessee. There are also some letters to Frank Tannewitz as well as some family documents related to genealogy and family history.
