The Benjamin J. Cramer Collection, held by the Archives of Appalachia at East Tennessee State University, consists of research conducted by Cramer on the Carolina, Clinchfield and Ohio Railway (CC&O) and its operations around the communities of Lost Cove, North Carolina, and Bumpass Cove, Tennessee. The research includes an audio recording of an interview with Jack Hawkins, who worked for CC&O for forty years, photographic prints of Lost Cove, North Carolina, and one VHS videotape about the Bumpass Cove landfill.

The digital collection below includes pdf files of the research and photographic materials, along with digital files of the audio and moving image content.
