The David Diehl Account Book, held by the Archives of Appalachia at East Tennessee State University, consists of  a photocopy of an account book that belonged to David Diehl (Deal), 1850-1882. It contains records of farming and his coopering business.

The current digital collection was scanned by the Archives of Appalachia in 2022 from the photocopied surrogate, which was copied by Hugh H. Mottern from the original owned by Martha Diehl Miller.

The current location of the original account book is unknown.
