St. Paul's School Booklet, 1819-1821

The St. Paul's School Booklet, held by the Archives of Appalachia at East Tennessee State University, is a hand-written, sewn booklet (6½ x 4 inches) written in German. The booklet contains a description of the school's creation, names of the trustees, a list of subscribers and amounts pledged, rules and regulations of the school, and a report of the Synod Committee. Pages 1-3 describe the creation of the St. Paul School Foundation; pages 4-5 include the signatures of 15 men; page 5 includes the names of trustees; pages 6-10 list the rules and regulations for school; pages 12-13 list the names of subscribers and amounts pledged; pages 14-15 include a report of Synod Committee (headed by Ambrose Henkel).

The current digital collection contains a PDF file surrogate created in 2022 of the complete booklet.
