You may be cleaning out the garage, or possibly mowing the yard, or simply tuning in on a rainy Saturday. But now Studio One has reeled you in, and for the next hour you can relax and know that the music will be great thanks to ears and hands of studio engineer Mike Strickland. Bands often used their Studio One performance in press kits and live albums.
Every Saturday, from 1994-2022, listeners could count on Studio One for the finest local and regional musicians featured in a live setting. Sometimes a national act or touring group would stop by and spend an hour sharing their tunes. Mostly, the musical groups featured on Studio One were some the finest musicians of our region. How lucky we were to share in these performances!
