The James H. Dear mother and family
As I am think most of you will try and answer some of your letters any way I just recived [sic] fifteen letters
from you this week and also one from anna and mary but I ant going to be able to answer them all to day
Well mother it sure is a windy day here in Germany but it is good foxhole weather Well I will be glad when
thing is over so I can start living again Well mother I recived to [sic] fruit cakes from you they sure was
good any thing is good when you
