East Tennessee Church Ledger, 1911-1923


The East Tennessee Church Ledger, held by the Archives of Appalachia at East Tennessee State University, is a financial ledger of an unidentified congregation (probably Presbyterian) in East Tennessee. The ledger contains several financial entries, including accounts payable, bills payable, congregational funds, general subscriptions, miscellaneous income, mortgage income, profit and loss, and special subscriptions. The ledger also contains entries of "Outside Churches," including Timber Ridge, Bethesda, Pilot Knob, Portrum's Memorial, Vardy, Glen Alpine, Reedy Creek, and Flag Pond churches. The entries in the ledger are dated from 1911 to 1923.
